If you’ve landed here, it means that someone I value and someone you trust suggested we’d get along well. In which case, it is an honour you’re here.
My name is Zoe and according to my kids I help people, with business stuff. Which is the most innocent and heartwarming way of saying I’m a freelance executive and consultant, of sorts. But not your typical consultant.
I know you’re busy, so I’ll keep it short. I’d love to hear your story, where you’re headed and what’s getting in your way. If there’s anything I can do to help you, please feel free to reach out.
Look forward to hearing from you,
Zoe
Tell me your story. What’s going on in your world? Where are you headed? What’s getting in your way?
Can I pick your brain? I’m about to being some research and would love your input.
And because I genuinely enjoy helping the human behind the exec role, feel free to call if you are ever in an Eddy Maguire 'phone a friend' situation.
In short, I’m a strange blend of strategy + operations + customer. Cross-functional, industry agnostic.
As a Strategy Advisor and Consultant, I combine strong commercial acumen with deep operational insight to directly support CEOs and Executive teams, translating strategy into action to deliver sustainable organisational growth.
And of course, there are the typical things: Strategy Development, Facilitation, Strategic Planning, Org Design, Op Model, Program Design, Growth Strategy, etc.

Run a workshop, facilitate a strategy offsite, intervene to rewire some team dysfunction or ways of working that aren’t quite working.
You need to hand it over to someone outside the team and know it’s taken care of. You could probably do this yourself, but you just don’t have the time.
You have a great team, but they’re not quite up to this one thing.
Maybe it’s even been sitting with them for a while but it’s not getting traction and you’re running out of time. It’s simply outside their capability, you don’t need a whole role dedicated to it and you don't have the time to do it yourself.
I call this extension executive. A clone of you in the background helping get your ideas out of your brain and onto (digital) paper for the team, execs and the Board.
You have the answers but not the time. You need the executive equivalent of air tasker – exec presence, board experience, consutling toolkit, organisational understanding and commercial nous.
I’m a weird blend, cross functional, industry agnostic, commercial + operational + strategic.
There might be times when you need a whole team of consultants, or a hoard of grads crunching numbers in the background to prove something out. (I won't mention what role agents or bots play in consulting teams).
There are definitely times when you don't need that.
You need an executive’s expertise with a strategy consultant’s toolkit. Someone who can empathise with the frontline, sit with the Board, care for your team, and collaborate with your peers, to make you look like the hero.
I’m a truth teller, change agent, and people lover. Which makes me ever so curious.
It’s less about prefab services and more about the context of your problem or pain, and what shape the solution needs to be.
I solve problems for executives.
I do the typical stuff: strategy facilitation, org design, growth strategy, program design, consulting projects, workshops, etc.
I also do the non-typical stuff: exec extension (like a stunt double, clone or ghost writer), interim executive (when you need a team babysat for a time because of an open role), and advisory (pick my brains like you would with a colleague over a quick coffee but sometimes you don’t have a peer or anyone in the team to play that role for you).
In short, capacity, or capability gaps. You don’t have the time, or your team don’t have the skills, to get that important item moving forward.
Not sure? Call anyway. A 10 minute chat and human connection with someone outside will help you verbalise what you’re thinking and sometimes that’s all the clarity you need.
